November (Veteran's Day) Food Art Camp!

Service Description

In this camp, campers will explore food and how veggies are grown. We ask ourselves ...how can food be used as a material for art-making? Campers will explore food as both a product of nature and as a material for art-making. Campers will learn about local farming practices and nutrition while exploring the creative potential for food as a low-cost sustainable art-making material. Themes such as sustainability, nutrition, growth, and farming will be explored. Example activities include food taste tests, food-print banners, bean art, and veggie stamping. Outdoor snack breaks and games will be throughout the day. Requirements by parents for children: Comfortable clothes that can get dirty, (1)healthy lunch, & (1)water bottle We provide: All materials for projects and snacks per break
